49ers hold six 2027 draft picks after DeForest Buckner trade

The 49ers’ post-Buckner draft inventory stands at six picks in 2027, with their first three rounds intact.

Key facts

• •San Francisco holds first-, second-, third- and fifth-round picks, plus a sixth from Baltimore and a seventh from Kansas City.
• •Over The Cap currently projects no 2027 compensatory picks for the 49ers. That is a projection, not a final award.
• •The 49ers have neither traded away nor acquired picks in 2028 or beyond.

Why it matters

We’ve added help up front without losing our early-round foundation. Per Niners Nation, Buckner is due to reach free agency after this season. The immediate push still needs a longer-term plan.

At 6-1, the next game comes against Las Vegas on Nov. 8 after the bye.

Watch for: further pick movement and Buckner’s role against the Raiders.
